2004-04-04 - 4:44 p.m. Ahoy-hoi, folks. Some of the sharp-eyed among you may have noticed that I recently posted a "new" entry which seems exactly like one I posted a week or two ago. That's because I just realized I had misnumbered my entries, and this was the simplest way of correcting them. But fear not, we'll return you to your regularly-scheduled madness momentarily. Hmm. And since I'm here anyway, I might as well take care of this frippery of my "real life", the chronicling of which is the ostensible purpose of this bit of webbery. 1. I am still working at Barnes and Nobles, and will probably do so until I ditch Sarasota. 2. I will be ditching Sarasota in September, along with Julieclipse. We know when we've worn a town down to the bony nubs, and this is one of those times. We're headed for Portland, Oregon, with its beautiful waters, biting cold, rainbow shades of flannel, and numerous places to buy espresso. Why? Shut up, that's why. 3. I recently placed 4th in the local HeroClix Unleashed booster draft tournament, down at Pop Comics. I also picked up a Bat Sentry. These are my crowning achievements for the month of March. 4. I am currently afflicted with some hideous disease that started as a sinus infection, progressed to a digestive difficulty, and is now a crippling throat disorder. I always manage to pick up the schizophrenic overachiever viruses. If I still can't breathe come tomorrow, I'm going to the sawbones to get my gullet gulched. 5. I am the Dread Pirate Roberts. Because it was initally called "Battle for the Clash", but then that was lost in the shuffle, but I like the word "clash", and the story is drawing characters closer together, and it sounds like Clash of the Titans which was excellent.
